As a member of Trust Life Settlements’ Advisory Board, Dan Beatty provides valuable expertise regarding the financial needs and priorities of America’s baby boomer population.
With nearly 25 years of experience in the life insurance and financial services industries, Dan contributes unique insight into the mindset of this demographic group, many of whom have already reached retirement age.
Having observed the life settlement marketplace from three perspectives (i.e. the seller’s, the broker’s, and the purchaser’s), Dan believes firmly that senior consumers will have confidence in a market where brokers have their best interests at heart and where they feel a sense of duty to the policy seller – not to the purchaser. Dan believes that transparency and disclosure are essential to building consumer confidence, and he shares Trust Life’s mission to minimize commissions on life settlement transactions to maximize the amount the policy sellers receive.
In addition to his knowledge of the secondary market for life insurance, Dan has a vast understanding and comprehension of business practices and strategic planning necessary for sound operational oversight. Dan is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business and currently resides near Orlando, Florida.
Trust Life Settlements is fortunate to have an individual with Dan’s background who is willing to share his suggestions on opportunities to improve the marketplace to benefit senior consumers.
As a native of New Jersey now residing in Florida, David Rodriguez is known among his associates and friends in the life settlement industry for his professionalism, entrepreneurial skills, and his commitment to consumer advocacy.
Having founded and managed several technology-related businesses, David brings to Trust Life Settlements more than 25 years of expertise that illustrates his dedication to technological innovation, process improvement, and organizational efficiency.
After spending 12 years working in the life settlement industry and observing its evolutionary growth, David founded Trust Life Settlements. He recognized the life-changing power of life settlements for senior policy owners who are burdened with expensive premium payments for unwanted policies. But he also realized that many senior consumers are not aware of the existence of the secondary market for life insurance.
By founding Trust Life Settlements, David set out to broaden knowledge among the average American policy owner, while also establishing an innovative business model that enables policy sellers to keep a greater share of the settlement.
Before his work in the life settlement industry, David contributed to the development and growth of a number of small companies utilizing his specialized training in Microsoft technologies and other software platforms designed to increase business efficiency.
David attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL and is licensed for life insurance in the State of Florida as well as in a variety of other states.
