General Disclaimer

The information provided on this website is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended as, and should not be construed as, legal, tax, financial, or insurance advice. Every individual's situation is unique, and you should consult with qualified professionals (including attorneys, tax advisors, and licensed financial planners) before making any decisions regarding your life insurance policy.

No Attorney-Client or Advisory Relationship

Trust Life Settlements acts as a life settlement broker in eligible transactions. Brokerage services should not be construed as financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or securities advice. Trust Life Settlements does not determine whether a life settlement is appropriate for a particular policyowner's overall financial situation. Policyowners should consult their own qualified financial, legal, and tax professionals regarding their individual circumstances and the consequences of a life settlement.

Brokerage Role & Fiduciary Duty

Trust Life Settlements, LLC is a life settlement broker that represents policyowners in the life settlement process. Trust Life Settlements assists policyowners in evaluating potential life settlement opportunities, markets eligible policies to potential institutional buyers, seeks competitive offers, presents available offers and transaction information, and assists with the transaction through closing.

All life settlement transactions are subject to state regulations, provider approval, and applicable disclosure requirements. Policyowners are encouraged to consult independent tax, legal, and financial advisors.

Licensing

Trust Life Settlements, LLC. is a licensed life settlement broker. Life settlement transactions are regulated at the state level, and licensing requirements vary by jurisdiction. We operate only in states where we are duly licensed or where licensure is not required.

Risks of Life Settlements

Life settlements involve important considerations and potential risks, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of death benefit: Once your policy is sold, the death benefit will no longer be payable to your named beneficiaries.
  • Tax consequences: Proceeds from a life settlement may be subject to federal and state income taxes. The tax treatment varies based on your individual circumstances.
  • Impact on government benefits: Settlement proceeds may affect your eligibility for certain means-tested government programs such as Medicaid or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
  • Policy information disclosure: Completing a life settlement requires sharing personal and medical information with institutional buyers and their underwriters.
  • Irrevocability: Once a life settlement transaction closes and the rescission period expires, the sale is final and cannot be reversed.

No Guarantee of Results

Past performance, case studies, testimonials, or examples referenced on this website do not guarantee future results. Every life insurance policy and policyholder's situation is different. We cannot and do not guarantee:

  • That any specific policy will qualify for a life settlement
  • Any minimum or specific settlement amount
  • That our flat-fee structure will result in lower total costs than all other brokers in every scenario
  • Any specific timeline for receiving offers or completing a transaction

Illustrative Examples

Any numerical examples, fee comparisons, savings calculations, or settlement scenarios presented on this website are for illustrative purposes only. They are based on hypothetical or representative cases and may not reflect your actual situation. Actual fees, settlement values, and savings will vary.

Testimonials

Testimonials and reviews on this website represent the individual experiences of those clients. Results vary and testimonials are not indicative of future performance or results. Names may be changed or abbreviated to protect client privacy.

Third-Party Content

This website may contain links to or references from third-party websites, articles, or resources. These are provided for convenience and informational purposes only. Trust Life Settlements, LLC. does not endorse, control, or guarantee the accuracy of any third-party content and is not responsible for any content, products, or services available through third-party links.

Website Accuracy

While we strive to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind — express or implied — about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

Regulatory Compliance

Life settlement regulations vary by state. Not all services described on this website may be available in every state. Some states have specific disclosure requirements, waiting periods, or restrictions that may apply to life settlement transactions. We comply with all applicable state regulations in jurisdictions where we operate.

Prior Completed Transactions

Our current flat-fee pricing structure applies exclusively to new engagements entered into on or after the date our current fee schedule became effective. Clients who previously engaged Trust Life Settlements, LLC. and whose transactions were completed, closed, and fully settled under a prior fee agreement have no claim, right, or entitlement to retroactive fee adjustments, refunds, credits, or any other form of compensation based on subsequent changes to our pricing model.

All prior transactions were executed pursuant to the fee terms agreed upon at the time of engagement. By entering into a prior agreement, the client acknowledged and accepted the applicable fee structure in effect at that time. The introduction of new or different pricing does not create any obligation — express, implied, contractual, or equitable — to revisit, renegotiate, or otherwise modify the terms of any previously completed transaction.

This provision applies regardless of the fee structure, percentage, or flat-fee amount that was in place at the time of the prior transaction, and regardless of how the current fee schedule may compare to former terms.

In-Progress Transactions Initiated Before August 30, 2026

Clients who engaged Trust Life Settlements, LLC. prior to August 30, 2026 and whose transactions remain pending, in process, or otherwise not yet closed as of that date are governed by the fee terms set forth in their original engagement agreement. The fee structure agreed upon at the time of engagement remains binding through the completion of that transaction.

The introduction of our current flat-fee schedule does not entitle in-progress clients to renegotiate, modify, or otherwise alter the fee terms of their existing engagement. Clients with pending transactions may not unilaterally terminate their current agreement for the purpose of re-engaging under the new fee structure, nor may they claim any retroactive adjustment, credit, or offset based on the difference between their agreed-upon fees and the current pricing model.

Trust Life Settlements, LLC. has invested substantial time, resources, and professional effort into advancing in-progress cases. Any attempt to circumvent existing fee agreements — including but not limited to withdrawing a case and re-submitting it as a new engagement — will be treated as a breach of the original agreement, and Trust Life Settlements, LLC. reserves all rights and remedies available under that agreement and applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trust Life Settlements, LLC. and its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, reliance on information provided herein, or participation in any life settlement transaction.
